Prior to founding Greenphire, Sam was a Vice President in the Product Development group of Citigroup's prepaid card division. In this capacity, Sam was responsible for managing several existing products and developing new payment solutions for new and existing clients. Prior to working for Citigroup, Sam spent his career working in transactional finance both as an investment banker and as a member of the investment team of a Philadelphia based holding company. Sam earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
John Samar - Co-Founder & COO

Prior to founding Greenphire, John was a Vice President in the Product Development group of Citigroup's prepaid card division. In this capacity, John was responsible for designing and developing internal operational applications that supported client programs and significantly improved operational efficiency and security. Prior to working for Citigroup, John worked as a structural analyst for Pagnotta Engineering, a boutique engineering firm specializing in aerospace-related defense contracts. John earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Management Science from Lehigh University.
Shawn Milochik - Vice President, Engineering

Shawn has extensive experience in web development and working with data in the retail and medical fields. He created a company intranet for Godiva Chocolatier, and developed several applications used by executives, the IT department, and manufacturing plant employees.
With a focus on best-practices and industry standards, Shawn specializes in data security and process automation. When he's not working with technology, Shawn practices and performs slight-of-hand magic with cards.
Amanda Henninger - Vice President, Implementation Management

A seasoned operations manager in the pharmaceutical industry, Amanda brings a wealth of industry experience to her role as Head of the Implementations team. Prior to joining Greenphire, Amanda was an Implementation Manager for Sales and Marketing Operations at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals where she was responsible for the project management of promotional activities, the implementation of new technology, oversight of servicing vendors, and the creation of standard operating procedures for various medical education initiatives. Prior to Wyeth, Amanda worked at a subsidiary of Merck & Co. where she served as Director of Client Services, responsible for all aspects of client relationship management, quality control, and budget management for multiple medical education and health care programs. An avid reader and traveler, Amanda holds a BA in History from Kenyon College.
Brian Dufresne - Vice President, Sales

Brian brings 20 years of broad-based sales, management, and consulting experience in life sciences, healthcare, and technology-related fields to his position as Vice President of Global Sales at Greenphire. Brian’s responsibilities include sales activities with sponsors and CROs, creating and maintaining positive client and partner relationships and implementing the necessary processes for the achievement of the company’s revenue goals and objectives.
Prior to joining Greenphire, Brian held various sales positions with Phase Forward, PerkinElmer, Invivodata, and Scientific Software.
Brian is a voracious reader, a Level 4 USA Hockey coach, and an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fly fishing, hunting and hiking. Brian received his BS degree in Chemistry from the University of Vermont.
